The Cimi is located on the campus of the Faculty of Medicine of Sorbonne University on the site of the Piti\u00e9-Salp\u00eatri\u00e8re in Paris. This location creates a strong dynamic of exchanges between the research teams and the hospital services. Approximately 150 people work at the Cimi, including researchers, teachers, technical and research support staff. Research at the Cimi explores immune system functions and host-pathogen interactions, and seeks to develop new therapeutic strategies in the field of immunology and infectious diseases.
