Summary of the activity
The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) of the Pitié-Salpêtrière – Charles Foix hospitals was created by the Clinical Research and Development Department (DRCD) of the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris in January 2003 in order to improve the conditions for conducting clinical studies involving one or more departments of these hospitals.
This structure is coordinated by Pr Florence TUBACH of the BIOSPIM Department (Mazarin Pavilion). The URC is the representative of the AP-HP sponsor (DRCD) on the hospital group. The main mission of the URC is to support clinical investigators in their development and implementation of clinical studies, with AP-HP promotion, and in particular all studies financed by ministerial calls for projects (PHRC, PREPS, PRME, PHRI-P).
